Valentine’s Day is racing towards us, and it’s time to start thinking about how you’re going to spoil your loved one. Flowers are one of the most popular gifts, M&S’ online offering provides convenience and value.

Marks and Spencer has long had a flower section, however it has just unveiled a huge rebrand with the launch of the new ‘Flower Market’, with a new logo, stylish packaging with branded paper and ribbon, and a message card, offering more of a luxury experience for special occasions.

To ensure quality, the brand has revealed that it’s the only premium UK Retailer with a Flower Doctor, who analyses, tests, and perfects the flowers to ensure they pass the 5-day freshness test.

A statement from Kathryn Turner, M&S’ Director of Product Development says: “Our new Flower Market launch redefines the M&S floral experience, blending expert craftsmanship with a focus on style and sophistication. Backed by the unrivalled knowledge of our in-house florists and suppliers, the updated packaging and elevated aesthetic bring a fresh, modern feel that enhances every moment, whether you’re shopping in-store or gifting online. This exceptional revamp, designed with precision and passion, reflects the expertise of our team and is something we’re incredibly proud of.”

The most affordable bouquet at M&S is the Rose & Tulip Bouquet, which will set you back £25 and is a 22-stem arrangement featuring pink and white tulips and pink and red roses, offering a more spring-themed alternative to a classic rose bouquet.

The Blush Rose Abundance Bouquet features 23 specially grown roses in a gorgeous pink shade which are ideal for a fail-safe Valentine’s gift. Make it a gift by adding Prosecco, a candle or some chocolates.

The bouquet costs £28, and it’s a popular choice, with M&S reported they sold 5.4 million roses in the lead-up to Valentine’s Day 2024.

If you’re looking for a unique bouquet with lots of variety and a mix of floral and greenery, the £30 Sweetly Scented Rose Tweedia & Freesia Bouquet includes 22 stems including alstroemeria, tweedia, freesia, hyacinth and rose in peach with fresh eucalyptus and senecio.

Prestige Flowers has an extensive variety of flowers, plants and bouquets including the option to get a bouquet of roses with luxury chocolates included.

Or, Bloom & Wild is a well-known destination for ordering flowers online and all flowers are sent with fast delivery to ensure freshness.
