King Charles appeared in high spirits this morning as he visited Aberdeen in a green and navy tartan kilt.
The 76-year-old monarch paired the iconic Scottish garment with a beige tweed blazer, matching waistcoat, shirt and tie and long navy socks.
The King is visiting Aberdeen to view the renovations made to The Gordon Highlanders Museum.
The Museum is an independent self-financed museum governed by a charitable trust. It seeks to preserve the heritage of The Gordon Highlanders in memory of the regiment and uses their stories to help people understand what it means to have served in a Highland Regiment.
