This house is the most expensive in the world with a huge price tag of £3.6 million.

Included in the price is a temple, an ice cream parlour and a six-floor garage.

The 400,000-square-foot palace is towering 27 storeys over downtown Mumbai.

The home is the residence of billionaire Mukesh Ambani and his family in India, it is known as Antilia and has a striking appearance.

Mukesh Ambani chairs and runs $120 billion (£98.36 billion) revenue Reliance Industries, which has interests in petrochemicals, oil and gas, telecom, retail, media and financial services, reports Forbes.

Ambani has expanded Reliance into green energy. The company will be investing over the next 10-15 years on renewable energy and building a new complex next to its refinery.

Impressively, the Antilia home was nearly used for Christopher Nolan’s hit film, Tenet but due to strict security measures which meant filming could not take place there.

Inside are nine lifts, a ballroom, a theatre, a swimming pool and a spa.

Antilia itself can allegedly survive an earthquake of 8 on the Richter scale.

Unbelievably, the novelties inside the property continue as there’s even a snow room that spits out snowflakes from the icy walls.

Due to the heat in the sweltering Indian summer temperatures, the family use this room to cool off.

Antilia was built from 2008 to 2010 and cost a huge $2 billion (£1.57 billion).

Some have suggested that the family actually only occupy one floor of the building, which has allegedly been confirmed by Times of India.

The building overlooks one of India’s poorest areas including a famous poverty stricken area, the Dharavi slum.

Living in the slum are around a million people and notable figures have criticised the family for building a lavish property in an area where many people are living in poverty.
