The still-first-place New York Giants are back in action today after last week’s bye.
They’ll resume the season against their NFC East rival Philadelphia Eagles, who currently sit at the bottom of the division at 2-6.
The teams meet twice a year, once at each team’s home stadium, and the typically-dominant Eagles are riding a 13-game home winning streak against the Giants. The streak, which includes playoffs, dates back to 2014. New York last won in Philly on Oct. 27, 2013, but are favored in today’s matchup.

The Giants improved to 4-2-1 in the matchup before their bye week, a 27-21 overtime win in Houston in QB J.J. McCarthy’s first start for the team.
The Eagles come into today’s game on a six-game losing streak. Earlier this week, the team announced it would turn to third-string quarterback Joe Milton III to start today’s game. After starter Jalen Hurts was sidelined for the season with blood clots, backup Tanner McKee made three starts.
