Black Friday is almost here but shoppers can already save hundreds on essential home appliances. For shoppers needing to upgrade their oven, washing machine, fridge freezer or dishwasher, there are discounts up to £400 on offer at AEG.

The brand is knocking up to 25% off select appliances as part of its month-long Black November event, with savings across cooking, laundry, cooling and dishwashing devices. There’s also a chance to secure an extra 5% off with the code FLASH5 on orders placed on weekends.

Among the highest-rated AEG appliances on sale is the 3000 SurroundCook Aqua Clean Enamel Built-in Oven at £279 (was £379), which is said to use advanced fan technology to distribute heat evenly. It offers multilevel cooking, a digital timer display and capacity for an included extra-large baking tray that’s ‘20% bigger’ than standard ones.

Also on offer is the 5000 Induction Hob at £299 (was £389), touted as delivering ‘fast, powerful and efficient’ induction heating twice as fast as a radiant hob. It boasts four cooking zones that can be used individually with accurate temperature controls.

For when the cooking’s done, AEG’s 8000 SatelliteClean Pro Comfort Lift Dishwasher is £220 off at £829.99 (was £1,049.99) but ‘selling fast’. This model boasts several features including a double rotating spray arm that delivers water from multiple angles to remove stubborn and baked-on food residues without using extra water.

The clever ComfortLift raises the lower basket to the same level as the upper basket so users don’t need to bend down to load or unload, with users praising its overall ‘excellent performance’. Over at Currys, there’s £130 off the Bosch Series 4 WiFi-enabled Dishwasher at £449 (was £579).

With this, users can control it with Amazon Alexa via the Home Connect app so it can be activated from anywhere. Also at AEG is £200 off the 7000 SensiDry Heat Pump Tumble Dryer at £499 (was £699), which can dry clothes evenly at low temperatures.

It can be used to dry both synthetic and cotton garments simultaneously, while humidity sensors help adjust the time and energy usage by measuring the temperature and humidity of each load. For households needing a washing machine upgrade, the 7000 ProSteam UniversalDose Washing Machine is £270 off at £529.99 (was £799.99).

As well as traditional washing cycles, it features a steam mode that AEG says saves water while caring for clothes, with bad odours neutralised and wrinkles reduced. It also boasts a smooth drum pattern that’s said to be gentler on fabrics than other models.

For shoppers preferring a more affordable model, Argos’s Black Friday sale has seen the TCL 1400 Spin Washing Machine drop to its ‘lowest price ever’ of £279 – although the retailer hasn’t stated the previous cost. According to the manufacturer, this appliance combines ‘powerful cleaning with advanced care features’, with a Turbo Speed function to shorten wash times and autoStain Removal that tackles stubborn stains.

Finally, AEG customers can find several discounted fridge freezers such as the 7000 NoFrost CoolAssist at £949.99 (was £1,099.99), which uses AI to automatically adapt its settings to a user’s daily routine. This nifty feature can optimise temperature and energy usage, while the NoFrost function prevents ice build-up.

The MultiSpace appliance has been designed with added height to offer extra storage across several fridge and freezer compartments and an additional pull-out drawer, with AEG’s ‘Cooling 360°’ feature helping protect food quality with steady temperatures.

Elsewhere, Samsung has just kicked off its own Black Friday sale, where there’s up to £600 off fridge freezers like the Bottom Mounted Freezer Series 8 SpaceMax at £1,149 (was £1,749). This uses two separate air flows in the separate fridge and freezer compartments with more temperature control ensuring food remains a good quality for longer.

As well as its Black November discounts, AEG also offers peace of mind with a five-year warranty on select products, free appliance delivery to eligible addresses and a 30-day returns window. Of the appliances on offer, the 3000 SurroundCook Aqua Clean Enamel Built-in Oven has racked up one of the highest review scores at 4.8 stars.

“The oven is amazing,” one shopper said. “When I cook thin pork shoulders it only takes around eight to 10 minutes and it’s already cooked. I also baked brownies and it looked perfect. The air circulation is very even, so it’s good for any job.”

Another said: “Bought this oven to replace a much more expensive one [and] so far this AEG has proved superior in every way. I love the simplicity of the controls and the choices of different cooking modes.”

This user offered some feedback in their four-star review, saying: “The instruction manual fails to fully explain which functions work best for various types of cooking. With eight different function settings it would be helpful if the instructions gave suggestions on temperature settings to use.”

While this five-star review says: “From ease of installation to first use we couldn’t be happier,” one shopper said. “From roast potatoes and meat to baking cakes, this oven is brilliant. The excellent price we paid just makes the whole experience even better.”

Shoppers can find the full range of discounted appliances in AEG’s Black November sale.
