  • Which Walkers products are affected?

Walkers crisps are subject to a product recall after a commmon allergen was found to be undeclared in one of its products. Owned by PepsiCo, the copmany has urged consumers to check crisp packets for an important detail to determine if they at affected by the recall.

PepsiCo issued the recall after it emerged that the Monster Munch Giants Roast Beef 85g pack inside the Walkers Variety Snacks Sharing Box contains wheat (gluten) which is not listed on the packaging. The variety pack was sold in Iceland stores, though the product is no longer available. The Food Standards Agency (FSA) published the allergy alert on Friday (October 30), covering England, Scotland and Wales.

Which Walkers products are affected?

Anyone who buys Walkers multipacks of single crisp-types is not affected by this recall. However, shoppers who purchase variety packs may be at risk.

The following product has been recalled:

  • Product: Walkers Variety Snacks Sharing Box
  • Size: 655g box containing six snack packs
  • Batch code: 107543
  • Best-before date: November 21, 2026

Shoppers have been urged to take note of the batch number and best-before date as this helps to identify this particular box affected.

The PepsiCo warning does not cover a general recall of every Walkers multipack or every Monster Munch product.

The FSA advises anyone who bought an affected box and who has a wheat or gluten allergy or intolerance, or coeliac disease, not to eat the product.

Customers can obtain a full refund by contacting the PepsiCo Consumer Care Line on 0800 274 777 or visiting contact.pepsico.com/walkers.

PepsiCo has issued notices to retailers explaining the recall and has been advised to inform relevant allergy support organisations.
