A nurse was shot dead by her husband in a chilling murder-suicide just weeks after she gushed about the family’s amazing new life.

Violeta, 37, and Richard Yeager, 39, were found dead inside their Idaho home after cops rushed to the scene to conduct a welfare check.

Coroners confirmed that the nurse died from multiple gunshot wounds to the chest and abdomen and ruled her death a homicide, while her husband’s was labeled a suicide, KTVB7 reported.

Just 16 days before the horrifying attack, Violeta celebrated the couple’s recent life change in an affectionate Facebook post.

“We are thriving in ways I don’t think we even expected. … we couldn’t be happier with the life we’re building here,” she wrote on Oct. 4.

The Yeagers moved with their young son to the Boise suburb of Meridian just six months ago, according to her social media.

“Looking back now, I can confidently say it was one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. … Watching our little life fall into place here has been pretty special,” she wrote alongside happy photos of her with her little boy.
