Iran is accelerating the recovery efforts of their nuclear sites and ballistic missile program, with construction carrying on at multiple facilities, including Tehran’s infamous Pickaxe Mountain base.

Satellite networks and think tanks continue to document work across Iran’s nuclear and missile network, with a surge of activity recorded especially at the Pickaxe Mountain facility buried more than 300 feet underground near the Natanz atomic site.

The acceleration is evidence that Iran will not abandon its nuclear ambition despite ongoing peace talks with the US, retired four-star Gen. Jack Keane told Fox News.

“They certainly haven’t given up on it. It defines their regime,” Keane said. “We’re dealing with a diabolic regime”

“They recommitted themselves to the same goal they always have: to recover their nuclear program. To accelerate their ballistic missile program because they recognize what a threat that was for their opponents,” he added.
