President Trump blasted out a Post exclusive story Saturday about a whistleblower who says New York Attorney General Letitia James pushed her team of prosecutors to go after Trump – despite a lack of evidence.

Daniel Wiesenfeld, a prosecutor in the Investor Protection Bureau, said he was told by a superior to keep making the case against Trump in the search for dirt in his finances and associations.

The whistleblower said the team had become “exasperated” and that the directive came from the top.

“Tish was the boss and what Tish wanted, Tish got,” he said. “So we had to keep it going.”

Trump sent out a link of the story to his 13 million followers on Truth Social, along with the headline: “Ex-NY prosecutor claims AG Letitia James pushed Trump probe despite investigators finding nothing: ‘What Tish wanted, Tish got.’”

Wisenfeld was placed on leave after clashing with his boss and posting about internal pressure in the office.

An earlier August report in the Albany Times-Union cited since-deleted emails from Wisenfeld saying he was ordered to find dirt on groups “affiliated with Donald Trump” and told to “find and pursue crimes” by Trump allies.

A New York appeals court in August 2025 threw out a $454 million civil fraud judgement against Trump, calling the fine excessive.
