Frank Reich pointed the finger at himself for the Jets’ worst offensive performance of the season.

The unit was limited to 157 yards of offense and failed to take advantage of two turnovers the defense forced, having to settle for field goals.

“I think when it came down to it last week, the lack of production on third down, the 0-7. I think it was just poor on our part, and I’m the offensive coordinator, I’m ultimately responsible for that,” the offensive coordinator said Thursday.

“We had two short fields that yielded six points, and I think if that yields more than that, it allows us to apply a little bit more pressure than we did.”

The Jets averaged 21.3 points over their first three games, but the offense was shut down by the Bears.

They were missing two key starters: No. 1 running back Breece Hall and No. 2 receiver Adonai Mitchell.

“We did go into the game [knowing] we were going up against the No. 1 rush offense, and a team that runs the ball well,” Reich said.

“As an offense, we wanted to go in with a balanced attack, but we did want to get the run game going and kind of combat run game with run game, as coach [Aaron Glenn] talked about. [Play] complementary football, and kind of match that and keep our defense off the field. The problem was we didn’t convert on third down.”

Reich said the Jets’ limited number of plays is why Isaiah Davis wasn’t involved.

They had a role in mind for him, but the Jets ran just 32 plays, and it squeezed him out of any opportunities.

Smith received just two snaps in the game as Braelon Allen’s backup.

Tight end Mason Taylor (thumb) practiced fully for the second straight day, a strong indication he could return on Sunday after missing the past two games.

Cornerback Jarvis Brownlee Jr. (concussion) was limited after not practicing Wednesday.

Edge Kingsley Enagbare (knee) remained limited.

Hall (quad), Mitchell (finger), offensive lineman Dylan Parham (knee) and linebacker Kiko Mauigoa (quad) were all out. They likely won’t face the Browns.
