Just give Malik Nabers the damn ball.
That was Nabers’ demonstrative second-half plea to John Harbaugh on Sunday, and that was Nabers doubling down on his plea Wednesday.
“I felt like I didn’t get targeted much after halftime,” Nabers said. “I felt like creating explosives down the field is just helping us get in better position to score touchdowns, and some of those plays didn’t come my way, so just trying to figure out why.”
After Nabers had come to the sideline following his 25-yard TD catch in the first half against the Cardinals, he made it clear to Harbaugh that he could not be stopped. Harbaugh told OC Matt Nagy up in the booth: “Hey, Malik said, and that’s OK, ‘Just keep giving me the ball, please,’ ” and chuckled.
