The first few days of training camp often bring heavy overreactions. Football fans are starved for news, any news and the play-by-play tweets and reports hit like a drug to end that football withdrawal. Players look great. Coaches have made changes. The roster is better here, there and everywhere.
Normally, I say pump the brakes.
But here’s one for you Jets fans: Hit the accelerator pedal on the David Bailey hype train.
We can give you all the caveats: It’s early. They don’t have pads on yet. It’s not even August.
