A Tesla carrying three children smashed into a café outside a Target in California on Monday, killing a 79-year-old woman.
The victim, from Agoura Hills, suffered life-threatening injuries when the white EV slammed into Urbane Cafe in Simi Valley.

Five other people were treated for minor injuries.
The Ventura County Fire Department confirmed it responded to the scene around 2:30 p.m. and found six victims. The woman who died was a pedestrian.
Authorities said the Tesla’s driver lost control of the vehicle, veered onto the sidewalk and struck the woman as she walked outside the café, killing her.
The vehicle then crashed through the café’s outdoor planters before coming to a stop in the middle of the patio dining area, which was lined with tables and umbrellas.
