What our Post expert thinks about Canadiens vs. Lightning
The Lightning have remained a strong contender but are trying to break a string of early playoff exits, while Montreal has quickly rebuilt into a young, competitive team making consecutive postseason appearances.
Tampa’s chances hinge on improved health and a return to form from future Hall-of-Fame goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy.
Montreal’s success depends heavily on secondary scoring and the performance of its trio of inexperienced goalies.
