The Pacers and Nets are so bad that even the fans aren’t having fun at their games.
During Thursday night’s 123-94 Pacers victory at the Barclays Center, just their second win in their last 25 games, a young couple was seen having what appeared to be a tumultuous conversation in the arena — and it is now going viral on social media.
In a social media post, it appears that the woman, identified as Grace, gets upset with her boyfriend during an aggressive discussion.
The video, which originated from the Pacers broadcast, has 6.9 million views on X and over 43,000 likes at the time of writing, with many accounts weighing in to discuss what happened.
Internet sleuths and lip readers pointed out that she appears to respond to something her boyfriend said with, “That’s you… What the f–-k are you talking about?”
Grace then took to X to respond to the viral social media post.
“IM CRYINGGGGGGGG,” X account @graceamille_ responded, claiming to be the girl in the video. “I LOVE MY BOYFRIEND THIS IS JUST HOW WE TALK!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

Many on X are even pointing out that the man, who appears to be named Michael per Instagram, gave in to his girlfriend during the discussion.
“You clearly talked some sense into whatever he was saying. Cause only a man who understands he said some dumb s–t makes this face of recognition,” another fan @96_lions9719 posted on X.
Though not everyone sees a fight between the two.
“People see two real yappers going shot for shot and assume they are arguing,” @shanetweeted posted on X.

The argument has been a meme creator’s delight, as the couple displayed a range of facial expressions during their brief television appearance, allowing fans to speculate about what they were discussing and who won.
Though there’s no real winner when you’re watching a tank-off between the Pacers and Nets, as both teams desperately attempt to lose games on purpose in a further embarrassment to the NBA.
