An SUV jumped the sidewalk and smashed into an Upper East Side jewelry shop just feet from an outdoor seating area Tuesday morning, according to jarring images and police.
A 62-year-old woman lost control of her vehicle and barreled into the Ginette NY jewelry store on East 91st Street and Madison Avenue in Manhattan around 9:30 a.m., officials and law enforcement sources said.

Video taken by CBS 2 NY showed the wrecked car with its front side poked into the shop and partially mounted on top of a bent tree guard.
The vehicle was later pulled back onto the street with the storefront to the jewelry shop damaged, according to the footage.
The shop was closed at the time of the incident and no pedestrians were hurt.
EMS transported the woman to the nearby Weill Cornell Medical Center, where police said she was treated for minor injuries and was expected to recover.
The crash came just two weeks after a runaway yellow taxi plowed into two women outside a bodega in Manhattan.

Horrifying video showed both women thrown onto the hood of the cab before it slammed into the front of the bodega across the Lower East Side street.
Both victims were injured, but survived the scary crash, according to authorities.
