What our Post expert thinks about Iowa vs. Illinois
Iowa has turned into a perimeter juggernaut, hitting 43 percent from 3 against Nebraska and leaning on fearless late-game shooting.
Illinois’ defensive blueprint has held tournament opponents to just 55 points and 34 percent shooting from the field, a standard that has kept them 27-1 when allowing fewer than 72 points.
And go ahead and lock in Keaton Wagler as a top-10 NBA pick — he is orchestrating one of the most efficient Sweet 16 runs in program history.
