Two people were shot and killed at a Walgreens around a mile from TPC Sawgrass, delaying gates opening at the Players Championship on Saturday.
The shooting took place at 10:30 p.m. on Friday, according to the St. John’s County Sheriff’s Office.
Christian Barrios, the suspect in the shooting, was apprehended by police on Saturday morning, according to News 4 Jax, after being tracked by canine units.

Sheriff Rob Hardwick said the gunman entered PGA Tour property, encountered an employee and even picked up and dropped a PGA Tour radio at one point while fleeing. He also stole a BMW and committed a burglary while on the run.
Gates at TPC Sawgrass did not open until 9 a.m., but tee times were unchanged, and Seamus Power took his first swing at 8:15 a.m. Hospitality started at 11 a.m., according to Golf Channel.
This is a developing story.
