Sixteen people were hurt when a bus and a car collided on the Manhattan Bridge late Friday morning, fire officials said.

The smash-up happened on the lower level of the span’s Manhattan-bound lane at around 11:15 a.m., according to the FDNY.

One person was taken to Bellevue Hospital with a serious injury, and four others were brought there with minor injuries, officials said.

Another person was taken to NYU Langone-Tisch Hospital with a minor injury, and 10 more were evaluated by EMS workers at the scene but refused transportation to the hospital, the department said.

The most serious injury was a possible broken leg, and someone else appeared to have had a concussion, cops said.

The impact left one of the drivers with back and body pain, police said.

The cause of the crash, and the type of bus involved, were not immediately known.
