A female attacker pummeled an elderly woman during a senseless clash over a seat on board a Brooklyn bus last week, cops and law enforcement sources said.
The woman flew into a rage when the 72-year-old victim – a complete stranger – got up from her seat and then sat back down on board a B6 bus at Glenwood Road and Nostrand Avenue around 6 p.m. Jan. 29, authorities and sources said.
The brute then punched the senior multiple times in the face, authorities said.
The septuagenarian was taken to Mount Sinai Brooklyn, where she was listed in stable condition.
The attacker fled the scene on foot, heading north on Nostrand Avenue, police said.
The NYPD released close-up photos Thursday night of the still-at-large suspect, described as a female with a dark complexion, last seen wearing a light-colored bubble jacket, black and white striped pants, and a hat.
Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
