A 24-year-old woman pregnant with her second child was tragically killed after a driver who was arrested on DUI charges ran a red light and slammed into their car, authorities and loved ones said.
Bianca Esquivel was riding in the passenger seat of a white Toyota Camry heading south on North Anaheim Boulevard just after midnight Sunday when the driver of a gray Lexus barreled into their car at the intersection with the eastbound 91 Freeway Frontage Road, CBS News reported.
The man driving the Lexus, 24-year-old Daniel Ramos, was arrested on suspicion of DUI and later booked on an additional vehicular homicide charge.
Esquivel was pronounced dead at the scene.
