An emotional Stefon Diggs celebrated the Patriots’ AFC Championship win with his girlfriend Cardi B, after telling NFL Network’s Cameron Wolfe that he wanted to prove” that he still was at his best.

The Patriots defeated the Broncos 10-7 in snowy Denver, punching their ticket to the Super Bowl for the first time since 2019 and marking Diggs’ first trip to the Big Game in his career.

Cardi B and Diggs were captured embracing on the field as the celebration continued, with the couple even sharing a kiss in a short 10-second clip that was posted online.

Diggs praised the Patriots organization from the players to the coaching staff, calling them the “right group of guys.”

While Diggs had been a star receiver in the league, there were questions about what he’d be able to do this season after suffering a season-ending ACL injury in 2024 while with the Texans.

He returned in 2025 by leading the Patriots in receptions (85) and receiving yards (1,013) in the regular season.

“They was calling me washed. Said I ain’t have it no more. I just wanted to prove it myself that I am who I say I am,” Diggs told NFL Network. “This team took a chance on me. I just wanted to make them proud. Just thank you. I’m thankful.”

Diggs only recorded five catches for 17 yards in the win over the Broncos.

Sunday’s AFC title game was played in blizzard-like conditions when snow descended on the Denver area during the second half of the game.

Through the Patriots’ playoff run, Diggs has had six receptions for 56 yards.

“That was a great team we just played. We fought hard,” Diggs said about the win. “I’m just thankful to be where we are right now.”

He went on to praise second-year quarterback Drake Maye as a “soldier” and an “MVP.”
