A top-rated pub in Ospringe, near Faversham, Kent, has furiously hit back at angry customers for slamming its £25 Full English breakfast.
The Cow Shed has hit back after receiving backlash online for its £25 all-you-can-eat Full English breakfast.
The restaurant defended its breakfast deal, which includes unlimited servings of Full English items, fresh pastries, cereals, hot drinks, and juices.
Social media users started criticising the restaurant for its prices last week, with one writing: “Good grief! That’s madness!”
Another person added: “No breakfast is worth £25, even if it is unlimited. This is Faversham, not Mayfair.”

Some people even joked about starting a GoFundMe to cover the cost, with one person saying: “Considering setting up a GoFundMe page in order that I can try this lavish breakfast at some point.”
In response, the Cow Shed posted an 800-word statement defending its pricing.
The restaurant said: “Yes, it’s definitely aimed for those who want to indulge, who are comfortable in spending the extra cash to immerse themselves in our quality ‘ALL YOU CAN EAT’ breakfast.”
The statement continued: “It boasts The Cow Shed grill up (£13.50 normally – full English), with our own recipe sausages, fresh pastries, cereals, hot drinks and juices.”
The family-run establishment also stressed its dedication to quality, saying that its menu was put together based on a family love for food and creating “mouthwatering memorable moments.”
They added: “One of the main reasons we made the decision as a family to start The Cow Shed was because our celebrations and commiserations tend to be based around food.
“When venturing out, rather than hosting at home, we often felt there was some sort of compromise. So hence The Cow Shed in its current guise was born.”
The Cow Shed’s breakfast is available on weekend mornings with children under five eating free and kids under 12 receiving a 50% discount, costing £12.50.
While many criticised the price, others praised the restaurant. One TripAdvisor reviewer said: “Quality is always amazing, can’t wait to try the breakfast!”
According to TripAdvisor, the restaurant has a 4.5-star rating, with the owners also highlighting that fact.
Comparing the price to other high-end breakfast spots, they said that an English breakfast at The Ritz costs £56.
They added: “Think about it, if you were to frequent any establishment that serves a certain level of quality, with that content having only one serving of each, you’d soon be breaking the £20 mark.”
