Amazon is running yet another Prime sale. Not content with one Prime Day event each year, the retailer now dots its sale events throughout the year, discounting thousands of items, and this time it’s the Prime Big Deal Days event – the catch being you can only access these special prices if you are signed up to Amazon Prime.

If you are not a subscriber, you may be eligible for a 30-day free trial, which is one way to get in on the discount action without paying the usual £8.99 monthly fee.

Tuesday October 7 and Wednesday October 8 marks 2025’s Amazon Prime Big Deal Days, and Express.co.uk’s tech team have been weighing up which electronics deals are worth considering. Just because something is discounted, it doesn’t mean it is a good deal.

Here are the ten very best tech deals you can get right now in the Prime Big Deal Days sale, as hand-picked by technology editor Dave Snelling and deputy technology editor Henry Burrell.

iPhone 16e

Apple iPhone 16e

NOW £494 – WAS £599

View the deal here

It might not be the most powerful smartphone from Apple, but the iPhone 16e is now way more affordable. This device, which launched earlier this year, has been dropped in price for Amazon’s Big Deal Days sale, which means you can pop it in your pocket for just £494 – that’s over £100 off the usual cost.

For that money, you get a 6.1-inch screen, speedy A18 processor, toughened Ceramic Shield design, smart rear camera and full access to Apple Intelligence. No, it won’t beat the new iPhone 17 range on features and it isn’t as thin as the latest iPhone Air, but those gadgets cost hundreds of pounds more.

Hisense TV

Freely Hisense TV

NOW £499 – WAS £999

View the deal here

There’s a new way to watch TV, and it doesn’t require an aerial stuck to the chimney. Freely uses the web to beam live and on-demand content into homes, and now there’s a cheaper way to own one of these internet-connected screens.

The premium Hisense MiniLED range is now half price, with things starting from just £499. This includes a 50-inch display, full access to over 40 live channels, plus swathes of on-demand content as well. There are even features such as a speedy refresh rate for better gaming, anti-reflective technology and Dolby Atmos audio.

If you want to go supersized, you’ll also find the 55, 65, 75 and 86-inch models also reduced in the sale.

Apple AirTags

Apple AirTags 4-pack

NOW £84 – WAS £119

View the deal here

If you are constantly losing your keys, then an AirTag is a must-have accessory. These tiny disks clip to your possessions and offer live tracking to show where you last left them. Just bear in mind they only connect to iPhones, not Android phones.

You’ll see a full location on a map – via Apple’s Find My app – and you can get directions to the exact spot to help track things down. There’s even the option to set off an in-built alarm tucked inside the AirTag. Apple is selling single AirTags for £35 each, which makes this £84 four-pack from Amazon seem very good value.

Sony-WH-1000XM4

Sony WH-1000XM4

NOW £179 – WAS £229

View the deal here

It’s no secret that Sony makes some of the best headphones on the planet. The firm’s latest WH-1000XM6 cans offer seriously impressive sound, long battery life and incredible active noise-cancelling (ANC). However, they also cost a whopping £399.

If that’s way too much, we highly recommend the WH-1000XM4 model. These might be a few years old, but they still sound great and offer plenty of features, including top-rated ANC, 30-hour battery life and Speak-to-Chat technology, which lowers the volume when you talk. They also switch off automatically when you remove them from your ears and fold up neatly into their carry case.

Samsung Galaxy S25

The Samsung Galaxy S25. (Image: Samsung)

Samsung Galaxy S25

NOW £659 – WAS £859

View the deal here

The Samsung Galaxy S25 is one of the best smartphones you can buy, but the cheapest version Samsung sells has a stingy 128GB storage. We recommend going for the 256GB model, which is currently on sale for £659, a £200 saving on its RRP.

That’s a very good price for Samsung’s latest flagship Android, which has a powerful processor, capable triple cameras, customisable software and seven years of software updates all in a handset that – by 2025 standards at least – is reasonably compact.

Beats Fit Pro

Beats Fit Pro. (Image: Beats)

Beats Fit Pro

NOW £100 – WAS £219.99

View the deal here

If you want wireless earbuds that won’t ever fall out of your ears, look no further. The Beats Fit Pro are designed for workouts but can be worn by anyone and for any use. The buds have flexible wingtips that tuck into the folds of your ears to keep them in place no matter what you’re doing.

They have great audio quality, active noise cancellation and a transparency mode so you can hear what’s going on, great battery life and sweat resistance. Beats is Apple-owned so these play nice with iPhones, but they also quick pair and work great with an Android phone. At less than half price, they’re a great deal.

Fitbit Inspire 3

The Fitbit Inspire 3 (Image: Fitbit)

Fitbit Inspire 3

NOW £59.99 – WAS £84.99

View the deal here

Fitbit doesn’t update its trackers very often, so this nifty little device from 2022 is still the latest entry at the affordable end of the range. For £59.99, the Inspire 3 punches well above its station, with all-day and night tracking thanks to 10 days of battery life. Steps, distance, calories, heart rate and sleep metrics are all sorted here.

It’s a slim and very lightweight Fitbit available in black with choice of black, pink or orange band. It lacks built-in GPS, but at this price that’s forgivable. If you do want to track runs, connect it to the free app for iPhone or Android and take your phone with you.

Apple iPad

Apple iPad

NOW £284 – WAS £329

View the deal here

Continuing with the great Apple deals included in the sale is the latest 128GB iPad, which is just £284. Available in four colours, this 11-inch tablet is the best tablet for most people, offering great battery life, unmatched app selection and access to Apple services such as iMessage and FaceTime.

The iPad charges via USB-C and works with optional keyboard and Apple Pencil accessories, meaning you can make this affordable slate work as a laptop if you need to, or draw, sketch, note take or annotate PDFs. The iPad has always been a do-it-all computer, and at this price it’s even more accessible.

Shokz OpenRun Pro 2

Shokz OpenRun Pro 2

NOW £135 – WAS £169

View the deal here

If you want bone conduction headphones that deliver sound while exercising but don’t block out the world around you, the OpenRun Pro 2 from Shokz are the best I’ve ever tested. This is the first time I’ve seen them with such a hefty discount, and they’re a good deal at £135.

The headband design rests in front of your ears and music, podcast and calls are beamed into your skull alarmingly well thanks to bone conduction and a new design that also pipes some frequencies into your ears despite leaving them open. The Shokz are IP55 waterproof, have up to 12 hours battery life and are incredibly lightweight. Not for noisy environments, but for workouts they are among the best headphones you can buy.

Apple Watch Ultra 2

The Apple Watch Ultra 2. (Image: Apple)

Apple Watch Ultra 2

NOW £609 – WAS £659

View the deal here

For a high-end smartwatch option, the Apple Watch Ultra 2 is available for £609, a solid saving on its £799 RRP. That’s still a lot to pay for a wearable, but we’ve both worn the Ultra 2 for months and can thoroughly recommend it. It has two-day battery life (good for an Apple Watch), a utilitarian rugged build, great display, top software and excellent sports and workout tracking.

You also get a premium titanium build, depth sensing diving mode, accurate GPS and very good performance. It’s a splash-out purchase, but at this price it’s a good deal. Just bear in mind the Ultra 3 is now out, and costs £749.
