PlayStation 5 owners are in for a treat as Sony is set to release its next PS5 exclusive title, Ghost of Yotei, the much-anticipated successor to 2020’s Ghost of Tsushima. This new game offers a fresh narrative with a brand new protagonist, set in a completely different era of Japan.
Unlike Tsushima, which was set on the island of the same name in 1214, Yotei leaps forward considerably, transporting players to the Ezo region of Japan in 1603. Gamers will step into the shoes of Atsu, a character hell-bent on avenging her family’s murder by taking down the six Yotei leaders.
Like its predecessor, Ghost of Yotei heavily emphasises melee combat, offering five different weapons to choose from. A novel feature in this game allows players to disarm enemies and seize their weapons, providing several new strategies during combat scenarios.
The game’s developer, Sucker Punch, has once again crafted a breathtaking open world that players can traverse freely on horseback. The return of the photo mode enables gamers to unleash their creativity through virtual photography.
Ghost of Yotei is set to launch at a price of £69.99 when bought digitally from the PlayStation Store. However, those opting for a physical copy can snag it at a bargain, reports the Manchester Evening News.
Argos is retailing the game for £62.99, and a deal from TopCashback could further reduce the price by £15. Gamers who set up a fresh TopCashback account using our exclusive link will gain a £15 sign-up bonus.
This effectively reduces the price of the game to £47.17 once the cash is returned to your account. There’s a plethora of other games that can benefit from this TopCashback discount as well.
