It’s said to perfectly complement the zesty taste of lime juice in your guacamole, and makes it ‘extra fluffy’ too.

Not only that, but it’s also freezer-friendly – so perfect if you want to make a big batch and save it for when you’ve got guests coming for dinner or drinks. No more brown, mushy guacamole – freezing and allowing it to thaw also creates a creamy consistency along with the addition of the yoghurt.

Place the avocado, onion, garlic, yoghurt, lime juice and a few drops of Tabasco in a large bowl. Use a fork to mash everything together until fully it’s fully combined.

You can serve it straight away, or if you want to keep it for a later date, spoon the mixture into an airtight container. Drizzle some olive oil on top, then seal and freeze for up to three months.

When you want to eat the guacamole, thaw it overnight in the fridge the night before, then sprinkle with some fresh chopped coriander on top. Serve with tortilla chips, or anything else that you like.

Spoon into an airtight container. Drizzle the top with olive oil. Seal and freeze for up to 3 months.
