However, you do not have to clean your windows every morning — as experts from Cardiff Window Cleaner LTD shared a simple way to keep condensation away.
They said: “If you wake up and find condensation on your bedroom windows, a great way to clear away the condensation and prevent it from coming back is by mixing a homemade solution. Simply mix two cups of water and two cups of white vinegar, then add a couple of drops of dishwashing soap.”
Washing up liquid is one of the best natural ways to prevent condensation, as it creates a thin coating over the window glass.
It will cause the water from condensation to spread out rather than turn into droplets so it will evaporate quickly instead of clinging to a window.
Vinegar is naturally antibacterial so will clean glass but also helps make it much harder for mould to form on a window so it will not be able to spread.
How to make a homemade solution to keep condensation away
All you need to do is mix one part water and one part white vinegar together, then place it is a empty spray bottle.
Add a few drops of washing up liquid, spray on your window, and it should keep your windows free of any condensation for at least a week.
However, it should be noted that this natural condensation cleanser is a cheap temporary solution. Condensation will keep forming if there is moisture in your home, so for a long-term fix consider buying a dehumidifier.
