Red Arrows fans might get a glimpse of the iconic jets as the aerobatics display team is set to appear at major events this weekend. They will appear at The International Ayrshow – Festival Of Flight on Saturday (September 6) and the Great North Run the following day.
On Saturday, the Red Arrows are due to depart Prestwick at about 4.14pm, according to military-airshows.co.uk. The remaining timings for tomorrow and Sunday are as follows below.
Saturday:
4.16pm Vicinity of Kilmarnock
4.18pm North East of Muirkirk
4.20pm North West of Kirkconnel
4.23pm North West of Drongan
4.24pm Ayr display
4.48pm Oversea
4.54pm Prestwick
The Red Arrows will then transit to Newcastle, leaving Prestwick at about 7pm after which they will pass near Kilmarnock at 7.02pm and Muirkirk at 7.04pm, before flying over the Scottish Borders, reaching Holywell Rig at 7.12pm, according to military-airshows.co.uk.
On Sunday, the Red Arrows will fly over Newcastle for the Great North Run. The timings are as follows:
