Teen makes discovery after finding abandoned warehouse on Google Earth | Weird | News

Google Earth’s satellite imagery and 3D capabilities have allowed a teenage adventurer to make an astonishing find – an abandoned warehouse brimming with unopened energy drinks and NASCAR vehicles.

Jonathan, a 16-year-old with a penchant for exploration, stumbled upon the forgotten site while scouting for intriguing spots in his local area on Google Earth. Believed to have been deserted since 2022, the warehouse was surprisingly intact and housed an impressive stash.

The teenager’s TikTok video showcasing his find has gone viral, amassing a staggering 7.2 million views. Speaking to NeedToKnow, Jonathan revealed: “I found thousands and thousands of energy drinks alongside the race cars meant for the company.

“And, for some reason, a vintage show car and two random normal cars.” He expressed his excitement about the site, saying: “I think it’s one of the coolest places we have explored because of the products in there.

“There are thousands of dollars left behind in there including the cars. It’s even more insane that the cars are worth tens of thousands [and are] just left to rust and rot away.”

This eerie yet fascinating discovery was made near the Tennessee–Virginia border in the United States. Jonathan’s TikTok video shows the building completely stocked from floor to ceiling with sealed pallets containing energy drinks.

The clip has garnered more than 818,000 likes and thousands of comments. One viewer expressed their eagerness: “Neeeeeeeed to find this.”

Another contemplated the haul: “If they weren’t expired, I’d take whatever I could fit in my car.” A third quipped about the abundance: “It’s like an all-you-can-eat buffet!”

Meanwhile, a fourth humorously commented: “This building would hate to see me coming.” Another user succinctly captured the excitement: “Casually hits the jackpot.”

However, one commenter offered a cautionary note: “For anyone curious about getting into this, if you find an abandoned building that hasn’t been graffitied, used for parties or used by squatters LEAVE. There’s a reason they left it alone.”
