ChatGPT, the popular artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot run by OpenAI, appears to be experiencing widespread issues as of Monday afternoon.
OpenAI confirmed on a status page that it had identified a “partial outage” and “errors on ChatGPT for all paid users”.
“We have identified that users are experiencing elevated errors for the impacted services, OpenAI said at 1:38pm UK time on Monday. “We are working on implementing a mitigation.”
Website status site Down Detector was showing more than 1,500 reports of problems with ChatGPT as of 2pm UK time.
