Princess Beatrice has been flocked with praise by royal fans after celebrating a special milestone this week. On Thursday, Beatrice, 36, celebrated her fifth wedding anniversary to husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.
While Beatrice does not have a public Instagram account, her husband took to the social media platform on July 17 with a new photograph of the couple, who wed during the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020, to mark their special day. The photograph shows them looking loved-up as they smile at the camera on a beach in Scotland.
As well as many fans rushing to wish the couple a happy anniversary in the comments, many also wanted to praise Beatrice, with one fan even calling her their “favourite” royal.
This is despite the fact Prince Andrew’s daughter is not a working member of the Royal Family.
One fan commented on Edoardo’s Instagram post: “Happy Anniversary! Princess Beatrice is my favourite royal.”
Another wrote: “Happy wedding anniversary, you are my favorite couple, you have a beautiful family.”
Someone else said: “What a beautiful picture of the two of you. Stay happy and in love. God bless and protect your marriage. Happy anniversary to my favourite royal couple.”
A fourth fan wrote: “Princess Beatrice is such a wonderful and down to earth human being.”
While royals tend to have large televised weddings, this was not the case for Beatrice as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Instead, only close friends and family of the couple attended, including Beatrice’s late grandparents Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip.
Buckingham Palace released a select few photographs after the special day to share with royal fans.
