Meghan Markle doesn’t give “two hoots about what happens” with the ongoing rifts between her husband Prince Harry and the Royal Family, an expert has claimed. Since quitting royal life together in 2020, Meghan, 43, and Harry, 40, have experienced turbulent relationships with some of the prince’s royal relatives, including his father King Charles and brother Prince William.
While Harry has openly said that he wants to reconcile with his royal relatives, Meghan reportedly does not share the same sentiment. Instead, a royal biographer has claimed the Duchess of Sussex only wants to focus on her life in America, where the couple have lived for the last five years. This includes concerntrating on her career and building herself as a “television personality”, according to Tom Bower.
Talking about the royal rift, Mr Bower told The Mirror: “Meghan is tired of it all, she wants it to be over.
“She doesn’t give two hoots about what happens.
“Meghan wants to get on, and build herself up as a television personality and have nothing more to do with Britain at all. It doesn’t interest her.”
This claim comes after it was revealed that two members of Harry’s team had met with one of King Charles’ aides earlier this month for an informal meeting in London.
Harry’s chief communications officer Meredith Maines and Liam Maguire, who runs the Sussexes’ PR team in the UK, were spotted out with Tobyn Andreae, the King’s communications secretary, not far from King Charles’ Clarence House in London.
It is believed the meeting could be the first step of a long awaited reconciliation between Harry and his father.
While the King and Harry were not at the meeting themselves, it is believed they gave permission for their aides to meet up.
