A hilarious video of Emmanuel Macron’s luggage falling out of the car as it speeds away has been shared on Instagram. The video, which was shared by @gbnews, showed the French President’s delegates appearing to be in a rush to move – with the car speeding off whilst the doors and boot of the car still open.

Captured in the 43-second clip, the luggage that remained in the car can then be seen falling out onto the ground. People are then seen running after the car to pick up the luggage that has fallen out. The French President and his wife Brigitte have arrived in the UK for a three-day state visit. Due to refurbishment works at Buckingham Palace, King Charles, 76, and Queen Camilla, 77, are hosting the couple at Windsor Castle.

This morning, the couple were warmly welcomed to the UK by Prince William and Princess Kate.

Arriving at RAF Northolt, the royal couple travelled with them to Windsor for a full ceremonial welcome.

This evening, Mr and Mrs Macron will be welcomed into a State Banquet, which traditionally takes place on the first evening of a State Visit.

The evening will see members of the Royal Family don glittering gowns and tiaras.

Kensington Palace are yet to confirm whether Princess Kate will attend this evening’s engagement.

The 43-year-old last attended a grand royal dinner in November 2023 in honour of the South Korean president.
