The Meaco Sefte 8″ Rechargeable Fan with Replaceable Battery, described as a “game-changer” and “lifesaver”, is available on Amazon for £79.99. This powerful fan, which is rechargeable and cordless, can run up to 17 hours. According to the product description, the high-performance battery can be replaced, unlike the fan itself.
The fan is also available to buy from the Meaco webiste for £79.99.
The battery can fully charge in just three hours, using as little as one watt, meaning the fan operates for less than 1p per hour, reports Birmingham Live.
Weighing only 2.3kg and equipped with a built-in handle, the fan is portable and measures 21.2D x 26.1W x 38.4H cm. Designed with a “precision-engineered” brushless motor, the fan delivers “ultra-quiet” airflow, making it ideal for those struggling to sleep on warm nights. An alternative option from Dunelm is the Igenix 9″ Digital Air Circulator Turbo Fan priced at £99. According to the website, its vortex fan blade design and aerodynamic turbo design provide ‘maximum air movement’.
The Meaco fan also has a night mode, allowing users to dim the light and sound with a single touch. Available in white only, the fan comes in various sizes, each with different prices, and includes a remote control.
One satisfied customer praised: “This fan is an absolute lifesaver! It’s powerful, quiet, and does an amazing job of keeping the room cool – even on the hottest days.”
Another review echoed this sentiment, stating: “This fan is a game-changer.”
One impressed customer raved: “It’s quiet enough to sleep through, even on higher settings, but still moves a serious amount of air.”
Another reviewer also praised the fan’s features: “The oscillation is super smooth, and the remote makes life easy.”
However, a more mixed review noted: “It is described as a cooling fan, but it is really just an air circulator, so don’t expect it to reduce the temperature like air conditioning.”
On a positive note, the same reviewer added: “It did make sleeping a little more comfortable in the extreme temperatures we are having.”
