THE ITV studios, which hosts popular shows such as Good Morning Britain and Loose Women, have temporarily relocated.

Why did ITV leave The London Studios?

ITV has left its current location in The South Bank Studios in Waterloo.

The move comes as Studio 8 is set to undergo refurbishment.

The studios, also known as The London Studios, stand next to the IBM building and The Royal National Theatre.

The 24-storey Kent House Tower is the filming location for many ITV shows.

Where have the ITV Studios moved to?

From Monday April 16, ITV will be sub-letting studio space from BBC Studioworks in the Television Centre – the current home of the BBC.

The White City Place location is home to the Yoox Net-a-Porter Group, the Royal College of Art.

The site is also the location of Imperial College’s new White City campus.

When will ITV return to The South Bank Studios?

ITV is expected to return to their original studios in around five years.

On April 13, the final show of This Morning was filmed ahead of the move.

Presenter Holly Willoughby took to Twitter to say her goodbyes.

She wrote: “Well… we’re going to miss this view! Bye for now @itvstudios thanks for having us… see you once the builders move out!”
