A CRUISE filmed by Channel 4 for a reality show turned into a drug-fuelled orgy, passengers claim.

The week-long trip aboard the Vision of the Seas saw guests making out in public as others openly snorted cocaine and smoked weed.

One Briton was arrested by police when the cruise, being filmed for new series Shipmates, reached the French port of Cannes.

Another passenger vomited into the swimming pool while others had to be pushed around the decks in wheelchairs or were crashed out asleep in corridors.

Passenger Alicia Morris, 37, said: “It was like a floating episode of Geordie Shore with drugs and escorts and a police raid or two.”

Another passenger told The Sun: “Sometimes you didn’t know if you were on a cruise or in the middle of some drug-fuelled orgy.”

The Anchored Cruise, with 1,500 passengers on board, started in Barcelona before heading to Cannes, Ibiza, Palma and returning to the Catalan city. Prices started at £600 a head.

Also on board being filmed for Shipmates were two teams of five battling it out in a series of tasks. The other passengers had to cast their votes for the winner.

Channel 4 trumpeted the show as “holidaymakers on a luxury cruise liner with a difference”.

Producers also bragged it would become “the most Instagrammed event this year”.

But passengers described drugs being freely available and drunken guests running riot.

Alicia said: “It was a far cry from the glamorous party cruise it’s advertised to be.

“It was carnage.

“People were noticeably dealing drugs on board.

“I witnessed a couple of people being wheeled about in wheelchairs and asleep in corridors in the morning when I was going for breakfast.”

Web designer Claire Parry, 35, boarded with nine pals in Barcelona.

She said: “People were openly smoking weed on the top deck.

“One man showed us a wrap of cocaine but we didn’t want anything to do with it.”

Another guest said: “There were big white double beds around the pool too and I saw people all over each other on them.”
